WAVES is led by the two PIs and the Programme Scientist although most of the day-to-day management and decisions are made by the Project Office. The main role of the Executive is to secure funding, represent WAVES on the 4MOST Science Consortium Board, and fundamentally ensure the survey happens as defined by the Project Office.
